Our relationship starts with a meeting of the pack and a family profile that you will be asked to fill out in complete. This gives me a better idea of what your dog is like and what your dog likes and doesn’t like, as well as, emergency contact information. Your dog must be licensed in the city of Hoboken and should wear proper identification. You will be requested to provide two sets of keys to your residence.
Dog walking can be provided on an as needed basis. My service area encompasses the mile-square city of Hoboken. I never walk more than two dogs at a time and you can always request that your dog be walked alone. I believe it is important to communicate with a dog when they are being walked. Wag, walk & talk! Confidence and control is important when walking dogs.
AVAILABILITY: Service from 10am to 5pm, Monday through Friday and 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday. Visits scheduled outside of regular hours can be provided for an additional $5 fee per pet.
RATES: $15 - 20-30 minute walk, one dog. $20 – 20-30 minute walk, two dogs in the same household.
Payment is due at the beginning of a contract month. Walk times are fixed and cannot be changed. Holidays are not included in the discount program (see Holiday information below) and are charged at Holiday rates. Additional walks can be scheduled at the regular rate of $15 for one dog and can be paid on a weekly basis, or at the beginning of the contract month.
OVERNIGHT CARE: When you need to leave your dog overnight, I can be scheduled to stay with your dog in your home, or sometimes bring the dog to my own home providing everyone gets along. $65.00 – Includes and evening walk, overnight stay, and morning walk. Normally this time period is from 8pm until 8am . Additional walks outside the overnight period can be scheduled for additional fees as stated above.
HOLIDAYS: Upon Request. Please request services well in advance of any National Holiday. Services provided on Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day will be charged at a rate of $25.00 per walk.
COVERAGE: If I cannot, for any reason, fulfill your request for services, I have a network of experienced dog walkers that I work with and trust. All are insured and bonded and you will be notified and given the opportunity to agree before anyone other than me enters your home.
FREE SERVICES: Daily reports on my services and your dog’s time in my care. This can be in the form of an e-mail, text, or note left in the house. You need to know.
Feeding, if requested, and providing fresh water.
Bringing in mail and newspapers.
Watering plants.
Turning lights on and off as requested.
